Welcome to Region 6
of the American Iris Society !
There are 24 regions in the American Iris Society which are located within the United States and Canada. Three states comprise Region 6: Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. As a member of the national society, you automatically become a member of Region 6 if you reside in one of these states. We meet twice per year at the regional level, in spring and fall. A regional newsletter is published three times per year, in April, August and December, which conveys information about local and regional activities, and iris related topics. Congratulations go to Region 6 hybridizer Chuck Bunnell who won the first ever Hager Cup for the best median, 'Dividing Line', at the 2007 AIS National Convention.
